India is a great place to get home furnishing fabrics and custom made curtains and upholstery. Fabrics are great quality, the selection is huge and the prices are good. My 2 favorite (home furnishing) fabric shops are both located on the same road in Ameerpet but on opposite sides of the street.

We just had curtains made for our whole apartment from Studio Orion on Road 36 near the Jubilee Hills checkpost. Amina was our representative and she was wonderful! She asked questions to get ideas of what we wanted and the price range we were looking at suggested several fabrics and helped us find exactly what we were looking for in the right price range (other stores showed us great fabric but were trying to up-sell well beyond our target range. Amina had outstanding customer service as she stayed within the original price range, set dates and delivered on time, as well as followed through on any questions we had. The curtains were installed last week and look fabulous!
